What makes this cruise special
Your cruise in detail
Enjoy a cruise on a classic boat in a semi-private setting. You share the boat with other guests, while a VIP spot gives your party its own area onboard. This offers a personal way to enjoy the canals without hiring the entire boat. The crew shares stories about Amsterdam, its architecture and sights along the way.
The cruise includes a tasting of Dutch cheese. The onboard bar offers prosecco, spritzers, beer and wine, among other drinks. Drinks are not automatically included in a basic ticket. Available drinks and package contents may change daily. Check the selected package in the booking window before paying.
The local guide shares stories about Amsterdam, its buildings and life along the canals. You can also follow the multilingual audio tour on your own phone. Bring a charged phone. Check the available audio languages when booking; the audio language may differ from the language spoken by the guide.
Along the canals
Discover Amsterdam’s historic canals from the water. This listing does not specify a fixed sequence of sights. The skipper chooses the route according to conditions on the water. A particular bridge, street or sunset is therefore not guaranteed on every departure.
Cheese, drinks and packages
The cruise includes a tasting of Dutch cheese. The onboard bar offers prosecco, spritzers, beer and wine, among other drinks. Drinks are not automatically included in a basic ticket. Available drinks and package contents may change daily. Check the selected package in the booking window before paying.
The GetYourGuide listing describes VIP spots for up to 1 or 4 guests and mentions a chilled bottle of prosecco for the party. The link between that bottle and specific packages is not clear. Check FareHarbor for the actual VIP area and included drinks. A VIP spot is not a private boat.

Frequently asked questions
Where is your pick-up point?
Our pick-up point is at Oudezijds Voorburgwal 230, behind the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky and opposite the cigar shop Bom 9. The cruise also ends here.
How long does the tour last?
The regular cruise takes about 60 minutes. The exact duration of each cruise is shown on its page.
Is there a tour guide?
Definitely. Our skipper and host(ess) guide you past the most beautiful places, in English and/or Dutch depending on the guests on board.
Is there a bar on board?
Yes. On board you will find a drinks menu with soft drinks, prosecco, spritzes and a wide range of spirits. In winter we also serve Irish coffee, mulled wine and hot chocolate.
Isn’t it cold on an open boat?
It is a little cooler on the water than in the streets, and the wind can add to that. We have blankets on board, and in winter heated cushions and covered boats. We sail all year round.
